A CONCERT FOR CANCER RESEARCH
Harmony & Hope, presented by Gordon Stirrett Wealth Management features a spectacular mix of pop, rock, folk, soul and classical music performed by the Dalhousie Health Professions Chorale, the Bedford Brass Quintet, and a special guest headliner. The annual concert has been a hit with Halifax audiences, raising thousands for cancer research initiatives in Nova Scotia.
WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO?
The mission of Harmony & Hope is to make a significant financial contribution to research aimed at treating and curing cancer. As a Canadian Cancer Society independent fundraising event, the concert raises important funds and awareness for cancer research in Nova Scotia.
The Canadian Cancer Society is the largest national charitable funder of cancer research in Canada.
HARMONY & HOPE CONCERT SOCIETY
Harmony & Hope is organized annually by the Harmony & Hope Concert Society, a registered non-profit society in Nova Scotia. The objectives of the society are:
- To present an annual concert in Halifax of the highest possible artistic and musical merit, featuring a combination of choral and brass music, and;
- By means of ticket sales, donations and sponsorship, to make a financial contribution to research aimed at treating and curing cancer, by donating net proceeds of each annual concert to the Canadian Cancer Society – Nova Scotia Division.
